Heh, the title was right.

Oh man that was pretty good, you've got a great style there. What's the song you used for the ending credits? You know the frenchy one? I could really use a track like that for a toon I'm doing.

[Super Mario Land IV]

This really was great, it made my day.

I really think this is the fairest way to rate you:

Graphics: 10/10, sure they were sprites, but it was executed nicely with blurs and dead-on lip-synching.

Style: 10/10, sure, there are people out there also doing sprite movies, but you're practically the only one using SML sprites. Plus, you've got one hell of a great sense of humor. I loved the part where he ducks that bullets only to have one fall on him.

Sound: 11/10 It was just... wow. Great voice and sound clips that made it feel professional. From the old Mario sounds to the Bohemian Rhapsody, this is what shined the most.

Violence: 3/10 there was cartoon violence, but don't feel bad about this category, you didn't have to resort it. Sadly most people watch toons online for sex, boobs and violence... but I still loved this movie.

Interactivity: 2/10Well, you can click on that mushroom now...

Humor: 12/10 ....It Pwned, end of story.

If only....

If only I could get into a drawing contest like that! I'd show P? a thing or two, he really could have done better on that santa bit... heh.

I guess I'll vote for P?, since he (she?) seemed very confident and somewhat evil.... P2 just seemd like one of those annoying people that are always spazzing and saying things like "OMG so KAWAII LOLOLOL!!!1!11"

Blargh, I hate that.

[Super Mario World Battle]

Acceptable

I'll let it pass, BUT it was a little choppy, the endings was kinda sudden and it needed a plot. Other than that, good for a first sprite movie, keep at it and you'll improve.

[Sonic Mega Big Party]

Well....

I'd have to say it's not exactly legendary material. It's kinda funny, but the whole thing needs work (any idiot can notice you used trace bitmap on the sprites, and it made it look sort of choppy).

The sound was good, the humor made my laugh inside..... but it just wasn't enough. I'll let it scrape by for at least SOME effort.

My God.....

It's funny because it's true.
It's sad because it's effective.
It's powerful, because it sums up commercialism and the evils of how far humanity has come, but also how low a lot of us have sunk.

Forget Prowlies at the river, I'm keeping this as my all-time favorite, because it really speaks to me.

Damned souls of the the forgotten artists, I will avenge you all.

It's a great Zelda movie, i definitely want to watch #8 when it comes out.

By the way, what's the name of the song during the fight sequences. You know, the ones with the choir?

I'm rating my own thing....

The reason I'm rating this is not to boost the scores, if I were doing that, I'd give myself all 10s. Let me point out a few things about this flash.

1. We decided to make one movie based on the CD we bought at an Improv how (like Whose Line is It Anyway) so don't ding us on the voices and humor.

2. We are given >500 minutes to create a flash from scratch in class. We have to tur in a project every 5 days. Therefore, given our timeframe, we had only enough time to synch the characters and do an okay background. (I did the animations for Jebidiah, the medium sized monk, mastadj did the other two). We couldn't make a background until we finished. And even then, we had to go into every symbol to synching the lightning effects.

3. mastadj posted this behind my back. I'm surprised to see it doing so well, but I never thought it was my best work. I hate myself for admitting that we actually got fourth place for this.

currently I'm working on another cartoon at home and a music video here in class, so don't expect ANY sequels to this. The movie is fine as it is, but it's not good enough for a sequel (sequels are rarely better then the first movies)

With that said, get off my lawn before I throw ripe cabbage at you.

Well I think it was a good idea posting it on the site, Plus it made front page and 4th place on 11/22. I made that desicion because i think that we'd both agree to. You seemed happy that i did.

Lost Cause

With a name like McFatfuck, who can take you seriously? The voices were okay, but the movie looked cheaper than a D-Rate Kung Fu movie translated into English, then back into (insert Asian language here) and then back into English again. Ever seen one of those? They're pretty bad.

And over-use of swear words is a sign of lack of intelligence, so no one can really take this movie seriously even before the preloader is finished loading.

[Sword Duel]

Makes an interesting Screen Saver

It had no end, but that's what made it cool. Make a longer battle next time, in a movie with a plot and try not to use stick figures. Overall, it's f**king great.
